Man City have reportedly put in a £40m bid for new
« Thread Started on Oct 19, 2009, 12:25pm »

Man City have reportedly put in a £40m bid for new striking sensation "Balloon".

Balloon, with a strike rate of one goal for every four minutes on the pitch, has attracted the attention of the mega-rich Manchester club.

Mark Hughes was available to comment:

QUOTE
He's a player we are interested in. He's a bit lightweight but floats around the box beautifully. He's a bit on the small side but he's still slightly taller than Shaun Wright-Phillips so that's OK.

Balloon burst onto the scene in yesterday's game against Liverpool with a cheeky diving header that completely wrong-footed the reds keeper. The goal was slightly marred by the fact that Liverpool defender Glen Johnson clearly tried to kick the lightweight striker in the head.
