;D ;D ;D ;D Where do I start with this one
Another very pleasing performance from the lads in the reserves. Thought the lads played some great football, working the triangles well, all seemed confident on the ball and we scored some great goals.
Super Wilbur got the scoring started when he raced thru and slotted past the on coming Thrapston Town goal keeper.
Hard working Greg ( sorry mate do not know your second name yet) then scored from a super strike from 25 Yards.
Jimmy ( " i was captain today and i played right back and never moaned a single time about my position ) Partridge hill a very much " goal of the season contender already when he struck a free kick from 30 yards, with venum, power, accuracy, swerve, dip, ( is this sounding alright Jimmy ). Joking apart it was a tremendous finish.
Youngster Tom Randall cooly slotted home a well taken penalty.
" Victor Lopes Gonzales score another super strike when his pace was too much for the Thrapston defence and finsihed like a striker who has a lot of confidence in front of goal.
Danny Webb score as well but unfortunately superstar i didn,t see. After watching your super skill Dan i,m sure it was a beauty.
( please come on and tell me what his goal was like if you want folks).
Now! Now! Now! what can we say about the other two goals. Gaffer Rob Gould decided to come on fro the last 25 mins, he replaced outstanding James Russell, and he applauded the stick he was getting from the first team lads who booed with great enjoyment when he ran on to the pitch.
A famous comment came from the gallery on the patio and i quote,
" he better not " ----king score.
The Tanned stallion receieved the ball immediately and controlled the ball like a professional and laid the ball out to Webby on the left wing, and with " Gazelle like speed Rob raced into the box and controlled the ball with one touch and then buried the ball in the top corner.
There was stunned silence on the patio, beer glasses dropped in dis-belief, and another famous comments to the words of,
" I don,t ----king believe it, he's only ----king scored.
Rob milked the applause and had a smile on his face and i can guarantee he must have been extatic in side. He then scored a second to round off the scoring.
The lads were magnificent, James Walker who took control of the team today was outstanding, and i think that is now 3 games he has managed the side by himself and he has been successfull in every game. A fact that James promptly reminded me about in the clubhouse later.
Nick Verity done a great job making sure everything ran smoothly, so well done to him.
Well done to the reserves, every single one of the lads done very well indeed.
