I don't think that I am giving away any state secrets when I say that having games called off does nothing for a Club's cash flow - and we are no different.
It costs the best part of £2000 a month to run the Club before we even kick a ball, so this is an appeal for every fan to see if they can get any sponsorship or support in for the Club.
Could your employer, family, business associate or other contact sponsor a match ball, a match, a programme advert, a pitch-side advertising board, a player or an event? The committee will look at any offer at this stage of the season.
Could you run a fund-raising event? We have a race night coming up in March, but, would welcome any other ideas.
Are you involved with an organisation who would like to run an event at the Club?
We also have some works to be carried out around the ground when the weather improves; can you help with materials or labour?
Please give it some thought. I know a lot of you do a lot - above and beyond sometimes, but, we must take every opportunity to maximise our income.

Admin,
You can forget about the £410-00 you owe my son Kevin for materials he bought for us when we repaired the clubhouse facilities at the beginning of the current season. Ann and I have paid kevin for his generosity and I'll wait until we are in a more financially stable position before we are repaid. That will relieve some of the pressure.
I am available any day of the week to visit potential sponsors and if anyone wants to accompany me I'll be only too pleased to accompany them.
We must do whatever it takes to improve the position we find ourselves in through no fault of our own.
